Answer:

Ques:   The age of Rohan's brother after 10 years will be 3 more than twice the present age of Rohan. Given that the present age of his brother is 3 more than rohan's age.  Find their ages....

Ans:

let the age of rohan(present) be:  x

then age of brother will be: x+3

after 10 years,

age of his brother will be: 13+x

so according to the condition: 13+x = 2x+3

x = 10 and his brother's present age = 13

Here is you answer!!

Answer:

Many problems can be created.

For example, As the ages are 10 and 13, sum of ages = 23

7 years ago there ages were 3 and 6. So, one age was double of the other.

So, a question can be formed like this-

"The sum of ages of two sisters is 23. 7 years ago, the age of one of them was the double of the other. Find their ages."

Let their ages be x and y.

So, x + y = 23. ----- (i)

7 years ago, their ages were (x-7) and (y-7).

Considering y > x, (y-7) = 2(x-7)

                         =>  y - 7 = 2x - 14

                         =>  2x - y = 7 ----- (ii)

(i) + (ii)

3x = 30  => x = 10

So, y = 23 - 10 = 13.

Hope it helps!!!!!
