We are given that 7/2 times the square root of the number are playing on shore of a Tank

No. of swans playing on shore = \frac{7}{2}\sqrt{x}

Remaining swans = x-\frac{7}{2}\sqrt{x}

We are also given that 2 are remaining ones

So,  x-\frac{7}{2}\sqrt{x}=2

 x=16

Hence there are 16 swans
