AP = 4√3 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

O is centre seg PQ is diameter

OP = 3 cm

Radius = 3 cm => Diameter = 6 cm

=> PQ = 6 cm

AQ ia tangent => ΔAPQ is right angle triangle

m ( arc PM)= 120 °

=> in Δ MOP

∠MOP = 120°

OM = OP Radius

=> ∠OMP = ∠OPM

∠OMP +  ∠OPM  + ∠MOP = 180°  ( sum of angles of triangles)

=> ∠OPM +  ∠OPM  + 120° = 180°

=> 2∠OPM  = 60°

=> ∠OPM  = 30°

=> ∠OPA = 30°

Cos 30° = PQ/AP

=> √3/2  = 6/AP

=> AP = 12/√3

=> AP = 4√3

AP = 4√3 cm
