Using Pythagoras Theorem:

(Hypotenuse)²=(base)²+(perpendicular)²

Therefore,

=) OB² = OA² +AB²

=) OB² = 8² + 15²

=) OB² = 64 + 225

=) OB² = 289

=) OB= √289

Thus,

OB is 17cm.
