throughout the poem with the help of Rose. By telling the story of an impossible worm, and its destruction of a rose, Blake is able to challenge the traditional symbol of the rose. William wants to describes the relationship between the rose and the worm.As the worm destroys the life of the rose with his "dark secret love", love can also be destroyed by darkness, secrets and cheating, creating love that is sick and damaged, much like a “sick rose".(please follow )
