Yo!
Here's your answer!
The meaning of the phrase is:- Always give your best. Even if there are less/more people to watch you. Atleast you'll get motivation to work your heart out, after your performance. Number of the crowd, should not matter to you,if you're a person, ready to show the world, your small/big talents.
If the crowd is small, God is a silent observer. No good deed you do,gets unnoticed from his view.Keep up the good work. It will give inner peace, and a positive-vibe. The greatest artists aren’t the ones who work to impress the world, they are the ones who do what they love and put their heart and soul, into it. Next time, when you get this type of opportunity, DON'T care bout the number of people coming to watch your performance, because,if they're less, you obviously won't care, and leave the thing right away. THAT should not happen. It will create an inexplicable sense of ego.
Hope that this helps you!
