we have to prove that angle CAB=90º
i.e ABC is a right angled triangle
let us assume that Angle CAB=90º
(BC)^2=(AC)^2+(AB)^2
(13)^2=(12)^2+(X)^2
(x)^2=169-144=25
x=root25=5
12,13,5 are a set of pythagorian triplet.
Hence by converse of pythagoreas theorem Angle CAB =90º
