hey mate your answer is here ⬇️ ⬇️

given that - angle BOA = 90°

=>. angle BOC + angle COA = 90°

=>. 49° + angle COA = 90°

=>. angle COA = 90° - 49°

=>. angle COA = 41°

now angle COA + Angle AOD = 180° ( angles of straight lines or linear pair)

=> 41° + angle AOD = 180°

=>. angle AOD = 180° - 41°

=>. angle AOD = 139°

so the value of angle AOD is 139°

Answer :

  • ∠AOD = 139°

Given :

  • OB ⊥ OA
  • ∠BOC = 49°
  • ∠BOA = 90°

To find :

  • ∠AOD

Solution :

∠BOC + ∠COA = ∠BOA (from figure)

49° + ∠COA = 90°

∠COA = 90° - 49°

  • ∠COA = 41°

∠COA + ∠AOD = 180° (Linear pair)

41° + ∠AOD = 180°

∠AOD = 180° - 41°

∠AOD = 139°

  • Linear pair : A pair of angles on a straight line always add up to 180° .
  • The sum of all the angles on a straight line is 180° .
  • Vertically Opposite Angle : When two straight lines intersect , the opposite angles made at intersection are equal to each other .
