We can make neutral objects, positively or negatively charged,in the following way -

• The neutral objects have equal amount of positively charged particles or protons and negatively charged particles or electrons.

• The negative charge of the electron eliminates the equal amount of positive charge of the proton. And in this way the object becomes neutral.

• Now,if we remove some negatively charged particles or electrons then the amount of positive charge will surpass the the amount of negative charge present in that object. And the object will become positively charged.

• Now,if we add some negatively charged particles are electrons in the object, then the amount of negatively charged particles will surpass the amount of positively charged particles in that object. And in this way,the object will become a negatively charged object.
