Answer:

distance of object from mirror (u) =  -16

height of image = 4*height of object

hi = 14hu

hi/hu = -4

m = -4

-v/u = -4

v = 4u

v = 4(-16)

v = 64 cm

1/v + 1/u = 1/f

1/(-64) + 1/(-16) = 1/f

-1/64 - 1/16 = 1/f

-1-4/64 = 1/f

-5/64 = 1/f

f = -64/5

f = -12.8 cm

ANSWER = (-12.8 cm)
