materials:water,stirrer,glass jar, liquid milk,laser pointer or flashlight,dark room

1.fill the galas jar with water.add half cup of liquid milk.stir thoroughly.
2.darken the room.use a laser pointer or flashlight as a light source and point it to that the beam of light travels through the mixture.
3.look at the beaker through the side and note the cone of light.
