  • The goal of learning English, according to NCF 2005, is to encompass the languages that a kid naturally picks up from her or his family and social surroundings, such as the language(s) spoken at home, among a wider kinship group, on the street, and in the neighbourhood. The value of home language instruction in the classroom cannot be overstated.
