Objective: To determine the acidic and basic nature of certain household solutions on the basis of the color change of homemade indicator.

Materials required: Red cabbage, 10 solutions used in everyday life (vinegar, water, baking soda, soap, bleach, floor cleaner, lemon juice, apple juice, tea water, milk)

Procedure:

1) Squeeze out the cabbage juice from the cabbage leaves.

2) Pour some cabbage juice in each solution 3) Shake the mixture gently 4) Note the colour change​
