• Grasshoppers are insects with worldwide distribution, naturally present where there are mass vegetation. While, cockroaches are easy to found at places, where there are warmth and food remains, for e.g., kitchens, restaurants, drains, shops and stalls.
• Besides, grasshoppers are green in color and cockroaches are brownish red in appearance.

• Since both organisms has wings and jointed legs.
• But grasshoppers usually jump with the use of their legs and don't fly. Whereas cockroaches fly by beating the hind wings as well as run fast on the tarsi of their legs. Thus, they can fly in air and live on land at the same time.
