Contrary to popular belief, the Green Revolution was a wild success for the country of India.

The Green Revolution had the aim of increasing the country's production to meet it's growing demand. New seeds, tractors and methodologies were adapted which have now made India one of the biggest producers of food in the world.

Despite a billion plus population, the country is food secure and millions of farmers are reaping the benefits
