As the name indicates, inert gases have extremely low reactivity when it comes to exposure to other substances. They belong to the group zero on Periodic table.

Examples are:

Helium

Neon

Argon

Krypton

Xenon

Radon

Additionally, inert gases are colorless and odorless and all conduct electricity. They also have a property to glow or shine due to fluorescence.
