It is a series connection of bulbs where the negative terminal is attached directly to the bulb whereas the positive terminal is passed by the switch. Simply, it states that electronic current is flowing directly with less resistance to the bulb whereas the conventional current is too reaching the bulb indirectly with more resistance.
