In a kitchen we come across a number of chemical processes that we are not always aware of . We come across many separation techniques even . They are:-

1. Filteration -

In the morning when our mothers serve us tea this process is observed.

2. Evaporation-

When accidentally the entire salt kept in an untensil falls in water.

3. Sedimentation-

When dirt gets mixed with salt or sugar which then dissolved in water separated using sedimentation.

4. Threshing-

Separation of curd from milk.

5. Hand-picking-

Separation of husks and dirt from rice and wheat.
