AC = DC =4√2

In ∆ACD,

L ACD = 90°

By Pythagoras theorem,

AD^2 = AC^2 + DC^2

= (4√2)^2 + (4√2)^2

= (16 X 2) + (16 X 2)

=32 + 32

=64

AD = 8 CM
