The material shown in this picture is plastic poly bag.

As this material is made from plastic , it is very harmful to the environment in a number of ways like ,

1 - It is non biodegradable , so it causes a lot of land pollution and stops water to goo into the land .

2 - When these ploybags are carelessly thrown here and there they , clog or stop the drainage chimneys and causes floods .

3 - If this material is consumed by animals or humans , it can lead to worst results even dead also .

And there are soo many other reasons also...

Preventive measures to be taken to avoid these effects are :

1 - Reduce the use of these plastic poly bags, use a cloth bag or paper bag instead .

2 - Alwats throw these plastic rappers at its correct place like dustbin , don't throw it on roads because many straw animals consume them thinking them food and loses their lives and it also stops the drainage chimneys and in rainy season causes floods.

3 - If possible try to recycle these plastic products or if you can't just give it to waste collectors.
