Weed is a wild plant that normally grows in farms and gardens and impure the pure field by its presence.

These are the means by which farmers remove weed from their crops production.

- Mulching- it is a technique in which we use certain objects like straw, shredded leaves clippings around plants to keep the weed seeds in dark so they do not germinate.

- Another technique is cover cropping

- Irrigate your crops through ground level irrigation system to eliminate waste and discouraging weeds

- Hand pulling is taking out unnecessary plants out from the desired crop

- Tilling or cultivation

- Use of Flamers
