In ∆ABC ,

If three sides are equal in a triangle

then it is called equilateral triangle .

Therefore ,

ii ) from ( 2 )

In ∆DEF ,

DE ≠ EF ≠ FD

If in a triangle all three sides are unequal

then it is called scalene triangle.

Therefore ,

∆DEF is a scalene.

iii ) From figure ( 3 ),

In ∆UVW,

UV = UW

If in a triangle two sides are equal then

it is called isosceles triangle.

Therefore ,

∆UVF is a isosceles triangle.
