Observe the following reaction.
Al+fe2o3->al2o3+fe
(atomic mass of al=27u,fe=56uand
o=16u)
Calculate the amount of iron you get frm 270 kg of aluminium in the above reaction

Al + Fe₂ O₃  =>  Al₂ O₃ + Fe

Atomic mass of Al = 27 u     of Fe = 56 u     of Oxygen = 16 u

If 270 kg of Al is used, it means (270,000 gm / 27 u ) = 10,000 moles of Aluminium is used.  So we get 10,000 moles of Iron.  Weight of 10,000 moles of Iron is = 10,000 * 56 = 560,000 gm = 560 kg.
