Heat is being transferred indirectly.

Explanation:

• Indirect heat transfer is the one where we achieve a change in temperature from colderer to hotter by conduction, convection and radiation.

• If we observe the image, we can see that the heat is being transferred to the children and the room by radiation. Just like the sun rays warm the Earth.  

• Also it will raise the temperature of the room by convection which is the heat transfer by the movement of fluid molecules. Hot air will rise up due to low density and cold air will move down.

• If the surface of the material holding the fire is a conductive material e.g. solid, it will also conduct the heat to the surface of the floor.
