1. The himadri, Himachal and shivalik are the mountain ranges of the great Himalaya in the north of India. The himadri is the pinnacle of the Himalaya and the Himachal ranges in the middle and the Shivalik range are at the outer of Himalaya.

2. From the Mizoram, the route is Aizawl, from the Arunachal Pradesh routes, are a self-pass, Tawang, bhalukpong, from the Sikkim, there is a mountain pass called as nathu la. These are the northeast routes to India.

3. The Ganga and Brahmaputra meet at Ganges delta. Which is situated at West Bengal, it is also called as green delta or Brahmaputra delta.

4. The islands which are to the east of Indian peninsula are Andaman and Nicobar Islands which consist of 572 islands with an area covered of 8249 square kilometers.

5. Thar Desert is situated in the west part of India in the state of Rajasthan.
