4x 4 +x 3 -72x 2 -18x=x(4x^3 +x^2 -72x -18) =0
hence x=0 is a root
dividing by x^2-18 we get 4x+1 hence x=-1/4 is also a root
Note

x^2-18 is factor of the original equation because +3√2 and -3√2 are roots
