Obtain all zeros of the polynomial x^4+5x^3-6x^2-32x+32 if two of its zeros are 1 and -4

therefore factors will be (x-1) , (x+4)

product of (x-1)(x+4)

= x(x+4)-1(x+4)

=x^2+4x-x-4

=x^2+3x-4

divide the biquadratic polynomial by x^2+3x-4 ( in the attachment)

splitting the middle term of x^2+2x-8

x^2-2x+4x-8

x(x-2)+4(x-2)

(x-2)(x+4)

therefore other two zeros are 2,-4
