\mathsf\red{What \: is \: wave \: velocity \: ?}

The distance through which the wave travels in unit time is called the wave velocity.

The time taken by the wave to travel a distance equal to wavelength is known as time period (T)

 \\  \boxed{ \mathsf \pink{wave \: velocity , \:  \: V  =  \frac{ \lambda}{T}  = n \lambda \:  =   \:  \frac{ \omega}{k} }}
