SOLUTION

Differential coefficient means derivative i.e another term for derivative.

So to find differential coefficient we have to differentiate the given equation.

Let's say

y= \frac{3x+4}{4x+5}

Hence,

=\frac{dy}{dx} =\frac{(4x+5)(3) - (3x+4)(4)}{(4x+5)^{2} }\\\\= \frac{dy}{dx} = \frac{(12x+15) -( 12x - 16)}{(4x+5)^{2} } \\\\=\frac{dy}{dx} = - \frac{1}{(4x+5)^{2} } \\\\=Hence the differential coefficient is  \frac{dy}{dx}  - \frac{1}{(4x+5)^{2} }

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to obtain differential coefficient for:

y = (3x + 4)/(4x + 5)

On differentiating, we get

\frac{dy}{dx} =\frac{(4x + 5)(3) - (3x + 4)(4)}{(4x + 5)^2}

\frac{dy}{dx}=\frac{(12x + 15)-(12x - 16)}{(4x + 5)^2}

\frac{dy}{dx}=-\frac{1}{(4x+5)^2}
