Newton's First Law states that " every object which is at rest or uniform motion continues to be in state of res or uniform motion unless compelled to change its state by action of net force."

Example: A space craft far from any source of gravity would need no thrust to keep it moving at a constant speed in a given direction. Once set in motion, it continues to move forever without propulsion since there is no friction is space.

Second law of motion " Rate of change of momentum of the body is directly proportional to the force acting on it."

Example: Fielder in a cricket match pulls his hand backwards to reduce impact of impulse force. Working of air bags to prevent the time of injury.

Third law of motion states " For every action there is equal and opposite reaction "
Example: Working Principle of Rocket. Recoil of a gun.

akruteepoy9yco: can u give me some more 3 to 4 examples
akruteepoy9yco: plzzz
smartcow1: ok
akruteepoy9yco: thank you
akruteepoy9yco: on each law
smartcow1: First law: (1) The book rests on the table. It doesn't move. (2) In my car, I stop pressing the gas pedal, and the clutch. The car continues to move for quite a while. (However, there is some friction, so this is not a perfect example.) (3) Objects in outer space are better examples of movement without friction. They can continue going on, for a long, long time. Second law: A setting with little friction is convenient for illustration. (1) If I push a child on a swing, the swing starts moving.

For every action..........
Eg...sudden stopping of train
Recoil of gun

akruteepoy9yco: thank you
akruteepoy9yco: but i want some more examples can u give on each law
ishu9k: yes why not
akruteepoy9yco: thank you
ishu9k: examples of Newton's first law as there are objects.

The plates and cutlery in your kitchen cabinets will remain in place, until you lift them out.You will remain in your chair until you lift yourself out of it, or until someone picks you up, or until you fall off a stool because of gravity.Satellites remain in orbit without burning fuel because they maintain a constant speed, and gravity pulls on the.
ishu9k: pulls on them
