Answer:Linear velocity = Radius of path × Angular velocity

Explanation:

Let a body cover an angular displacement θ and a distance of l in time t on a circular path of radius r.

The linear velocity and angular velocity are v and ω respectively.

Now, θ = l / r      (Angular displacement = Distance covered / Radius )

         l = rθ

        ω = θ / t    (Angular Velocity = Angular displacement / Time )

        v = l / t      (Linear speed = Distance covered / Time)

           = rθ /t = r (θ / t) = rω

Therefore v = rω.
