SOLUTION

TO DETERMINE

The equation for the locus of a point whose abscissa is -3

EVALUATION

We have to find out the equation for the locus of a point whose abscissa is -3

So the line is parallel to Y axis

So the required equation of the form

 \sf{x = k}

Since abscissa = - 3

∴ k = - 3

So the required locus is

 \sf{x =  - 3}
