newton's first law explains that an object will continue it'd state of uniform motion of rest untill or unless compelled to an external force.

Newtons second law explains that net force applied on an object is proportional to rate of change of momentum...

we know, p = mv/t

p = M ×v/t

p = F(net)

F(net) = M ×v/t

but v/t = a

so, F(net) = ma
