obtain the roots of quadratic equation x²-3x+2=0

Solution :--

x²-3x+2

= x²-2x-x+2

=x(x-2)-1(x-2)

=(x-1)(x-2)

or,

x-2= 0 or, x-1 =0

x=2 or x= 1

so,

roots will be

x= 1,2

now factorise it ,

$x {}^{2} - 2x - x + 2 = 0$

$x (x - 2) - 1(x - 2) = 0$

$(x - 1)(x - 2) = 0$

then ,

$x = 1 \: or \: x = 1$
