"Occupation depend much on who lives where "
The statement is justified because of the following reasons:-
- The place where one is born and brought up has an effect on one's occupation. For example- the son of a farmer has grown up seeing his father cultivating crops and engaging in farming activities. So he will be inclined towards that profession.
- We see that in the coastal areas many people are engaged the activities like fishing or selling items to tourists. This is another example of how geographical location affects the livelihood of the peole.
- The scope of employable jobs differs from place to place. So people migrate to places that have more opportunities and choose the occupation that has better scope in the place.
