The process of transferring heat from one object to another object through motion or movement is called Conduction.

For example: conduction of heat from water molecules to the kettle handle and transferring electricity from one end of a metal rod to the other end through movement of electrons.

Conduction depends upon the movement of the molecules and the material of the object containing the molecules.
