radius of the circle=od=10cm
also given
ad=2√5 cm
we need to find the area of rectangle ocde
by pythagoras theorem
od²=oe²+de²
10²=(2√5)²+de²
de²=100-20
de²=80
de=√80
de=4√5
∴area = ar(ocde)=oc*od
          = 4√5*2√5
=40 square cm

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

radius of the circle=od=10cm

also given

ad=2√5 cm

we need to find the area of rectangle ocde

by pythagoras theorem

od²=oe²+de²

10²=(2√5)²+de²

de²=100-20

de²=80

de=√80

de=4√5

∴area = ar(ocde)=oc*od

          = 4√5*2√5

=40 square cm.
