The odd one is Cl^-.

  • Among the ions Na^+ is a cation as it contains a positive charge and called sodium ion.
  • Cu^+ is a cation as it contains a positive charge and called copper ion.
  • NH_4^+ is a cation as it contains a positive charge and called ammonium ion.
  • Cl^- is an anion as it contains a negative charge and called chloride ion.
  • So, here only Cl^- is an anion and other ions means sodium ion, copper ion and ammonium ion are cation. So, that's why chloride ion is the odd one.
