Anthoceros is the odd man out because it is a sporophyte class anthoserotopsida. Other three are big trees. Thuja falls in class coniferopsida, cycas in class cycadopsida, and deodar in class pinopsida. These three trees are found in mountains and hills in winters and can survive without depending on other organisms. But anthoceros has a symbiotic relationship with nostoc in which nostoc provides nitrogen to anthoceros.
