The odd man out among thermometer, rain gauge, anemometer, measuring jar is the Measuring jar.

  • A thermometer is an instrument used to measure the temperature of places, liquids and more.
  • A rain gauge is an instrument used to measure the amount of rainfall precipitated over a specified area.
  • Anemometer is an instrument used to measure the speed of air and the direction of air.
  • A measuring jar is a utensil used to measure the number of liquids.
  • As the measuring jar is not an instrument so is the odd man out.
