Answer:

during the start the car had already travelled 2000 km

Explanation:

at the end ,,the odometer reads 2600 km

which means that the distance travelled is 2600 - 2000 km

=600 km

avg speed = total dist/total time taken

speed =600/10

speed =60 km/h

Answer:

60 km/hr

50/3 m/s

Explanation:

Given :

  • Initial reading of the odometer of the car = 2000 km

  • Final reading of the odometer of the car = 2600 km

  • Time taken = t = 10 hrs

To find :

  • Average speed of the car in km/hr and m/s

Average speed = total distance / total time

Total distance = 2600-2000

Total distance = 600 km

Average speed = 600/10

Average speed = 60 km/hr

Average speed = 60×5/18 = 50/3 m/s

The average speed of the car in km/hr is equal to 60 km/hr and in m/s it is equal to 50/3 m/s
