Answer:

Let the breadth be b.

Length = b+3

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

Given, Perimeter = 22 units

=> 2(b+3+b) = 22

=> 2b+3 = 22/2

=> 2b+3 = 11

=> 2b = 11 - 3

=> 2b = 8

=> b = 4

Therefore, breadth = 4 units

Length = (4+3) units = 7 units
