oesophagus:The oesophagus is a muscular tube about 25cm (10in) long. It connects your mouth to your stomach. When you swallow food, the walls of the
oesophagus squeeze together (contract). This moves the food down the oesophagus to the stomach.
ileum:The ileum is about 3.5 metres (11.5 feet) long (or about three-fifths the length of the small intestine) and extends from the jejunum (the middle section of the small intestine) to the ileocecal valve, which empties into the colon (large intestine).
bronchoi:Bronchi are the main passageway into the lungs. When someone takes a breath through their nose or mouth, the air travels into the larynx. The next step is through the trachea, which carries the air to the left and right bronchus.
colon:The colon is also called the large intestine. The ileum (last part of the small intestine) connects to the cecum (first part of the colon) in the lower right abdomen.
