ANSWER :- 4

Step-by-step explanation:

p(x)= xsq - 4x +1

alpha + beta = -b / a

                   = -( -4) / 1 = 4

alpha x beta = c/a

                    = 1/1 = 1

then , 1/ alpha + 1 / beta

= 1beta/ alphaxbeta + 1alpha/ alphaxbeta \

= alpha +beta / alpha x beta

= 4/1 =4

4/ 1 - alpha x beta / 1

= 4/1 x 1/1 = 4/1

=4
