If a1/a2 = b1/b2 ≠ c1/c2 then the system of equations has no solution

Given equations , 3x - ( k + 1) y = 3 ; 9x - 3y = 6

Here , a1 = 3 , a2 = 9 ; b1 = - (k+1) , b2 = -3 ; c1 = 3 , c2 = 6

=> 3/9 = -(k+1)/-3 ≠ 3/6

=> 1/3 = (k+1)/3 ≠ 1/2

=> (k+1) = 1 => k = 0

3x - (k + 1)y = 3

9x - 3y = 6

9x - (3k + 3)y = 3

k = 3
