Given:-

  • Length ,l = 240m

  • Breadth ,b = 120m

  • Rate of mowing = Rs 10 Per m²

To Find:-

  • Cost of Mowing the Grass.

Solution:-

Firstly we calculate the Area of Rectangular Field.

• Area of field = Length×breadth

→ Area = l×b

Substitute the value we get

→ Area = 240×120

→ Area = 28800m²

Therefore, the area of the field is 28800m².

Now, Calculating the Cost Of mowing at a rate of Rs 10 Per m².

Total cost of mowing the filed = Area of Field × Rate of Mowing .

→ Cost = 28800 ×10

→ Cost = Rs 288000

Therefore, Total cost of mowing the grass field is Rs 288000 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

  • length = 240 m

  • breadth = 120 m

  • Cost = 10 per m²

To Find :

  • What will be the cost of mowing grass

Solution :

Area of the field = length × breadth

Concept :

  • The area of a rectangle, multiply its height by its width. For a square you only need to find the length of one of the sides and then multiply this by itself to find the area.

Substitute all Values :

= 240 × 120

= 28800 m²

Now

According to the Question :

Rate of mowing the grass = Re 10 / sq.m

Cost of mowing = Area × Cost

Substitute all values :

= 28800 × 10

= 288000 re
