Hey mate here is your answer
A shopkeeper sold 200 items on a particular days
46% were news paper = 46%of 200
= 92 news paper
25% were pens = 25%of 200
=50 pens
12% were books = 12%of 200
= 24books
Total 100%-83% = 17% other assorted item
17% were other assorted item= 17%of 200
=34 other assorted item

92 news paper + 50 pens + 24 books + 34 other assorted item = 200 items

Hope my answer is correct
