Of the components of a force which are perpendicular to each other, the magnitude of one component is 10N, and it subtends an angle of 60 degrees with the force . What is the magnitude of the force ?​

Magnitude or resultant is 2×102+2×100cos600 =103N.

Whereas, the direction of the resultant vector is given by: 

tanϕ =A+BcosθBsinθ =10+10cos60010sin600 =31 ⟹ϕ=300
