then the second no=2x
the the third no is 2x/3
if the average of the three nos is 44,then the sum of the nos is 44 x 3= 132
=> x + 2x+ 2x/3=132
=>3x/1+2x/3=132 =>9x/3+2x/3=132=>11x/3=132
11x=396
x=36
then 2x=72
hence the largest no is 2x=72
