let one length be x cm

then the other be x+3 cm

perimeter of parallelogram=

2(side 1 +side 2)

26cm=2(x cm+x+3 cm)

26cm=2(2x cm+3 cm)

26cm=4x cm+6 cm

26cm-6cm=4x cm

20cm=4x cm

20cm/4cm=x

therefore x=5cm

the length of each side=x,x+3,x,x+3

=5,8,5,8

opposite side of the parallelogram is equal

X=5

X+3=5+3=8

Therefor a=3, b=8,c=3,d=8
